OPR 260 - Stage Characterization

This course explores the development of opera and musical theater through the study of acting and movement for classical singers. Students will learn to utilize acting exercises including improvisation, monologues, and character analysis, as well as physical warm-ups and exercises to create a fully realized character for the chosen material.
Prerequisite(s): OPR 161 .
