RCP 353P - Clinical Practice III


3 credit(s) High Impact Practice: Internship
A laboratory/clinical practicum that enables the student to perfect methods and techniques learned in RCP 212 , RCP 213 , RCP 214 , and RCP 215 . Students provide oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, IPPB therapy, chest physiotherapy, and airway care. In addition, students maintain patients on continuous mechanical ventilators and draw arterial blood samples. May require travel.
Prerequisite(s): Respiratory therapy major and RCP 252 . Corequisite(s): RCP 214 .
Laboratory fee.
