DATA 450 - Business Data Mining

This course studies the process of selecting, exploring, and modeling large amounts of data to uncover previously unknown patterns and gain insights. Multiple data mining techniques are applied to large data sets from different business areas to support business decision making. This course offers the basic concepts and techniques such as decision trees, neural networks, nearest neighbor cluster analysis and uses SAS software to arrive at the appropriate decision.
Prerequisite(s): DATA 350 .
