SM 370 - Sports Marketing

This course examines how different entities in sport attract participants, fans and sponsors. The course will discuss the marketing of sport at professional, collegiate, amateur and special event levels, focusing on the role marketing plays in planning and decision making in attracting and satisfying different customer groups. Students will study current opportunities and threats in sport and trends that may impact the future of the sport industry and its various audiences.
Prerequisite(s): 24 earned credits.
