BUSN 120 - Innovative and Sustainable Business for the Future 3 credit(s) This course is an application of business principles to interdisciplinary concepts and issues. In particular the course looks at cutting-edge concepts in science, technology, artificial intelligence, the environment, the arts, music, society, and culture, and applies these concepts to innovative and sustainable business thinking with a view to creating ethically sound, environmentally friendly, and financially successful business ideas for the future. Students will study small and medium businesses, as well as large corporations, and non-profit business enterprises. Through this course, students will acquire a sound foundation in personal and business finance, entrepreneurship principles, marketing and promotion and will apply this knowledge in an interdisciplinary final presentation and term project. This course fulfills the Social Science general education requirement.
