CS 160W - Computational Creativity and Interactive Technologies


3 credit(s) Writing Intensive
This course introduces computational thinking as a foundation for creative problem-solving and understanding technological systems. Through a project-based, learn-by-doing approach, students explore the principles behind game design, physical computing with robotics and IoT, and the core concepts and societal impact of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity. Students will work individually and in teams to design, build, and document interactive digital artifacts, developing skills in programming, logical reasoning, collaborative design, and technical report writing. This course fulfills the Natural Science/Technology general education requirement. No prior programming experience is required.
