BUSN 112 - Career Ready Competencies

This course introduces students to the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Career Readiness Competencies (e.g., professionalism, critical thinking, teamwork, leadership, communication, etc.) which reflect the skills and attributes employers identify as essential for workplace success. Through self-assessment, guided reflection, and faculty mentorship, students will identify their strengths and development needs, create an individualized career competency development plan, and engage in experiential activities, including a major service-learning activity, to practice with and receive feedback on their proficiency in career readiness competencies.
Prerequisite(s): Barney School of Business students only.
