The University of Hartford has a long legacy of business education in the areas of risk management and insurance, a discipline concerning the identification, evaluation, mitigation, and financing of risks faced by businesses and individuals alike. Our Risk Management and Insurance concentration offers courses such as principles of insurance, risk analysis and management, life insurance, property and liability insurance, social insurance, employee benefits, and InsurTech Venturing. Our robust curriculum provides students with industry focused knowledge, skills, and professional development in order to prepare them to be leaders and decision makers who are career ready.
