As a field of study, finance is changing rapidly. This change is driven by the introduction of new financial products, services, and technology. Our finance concentration prepares students to take advantage of these opportunities through a combination of coursework and regular interaction with the business community. Grounded in a solid foundation of corporate finance, investments, portfolio management, and international finance, the program allows students to pursue their interests in more specialized areas such as entrepreneurial finance, portfolio management, money and banking, and real estate finance. A required internship, typically during the junior or senior year, is an essential part of this dynamic field. It provides students with further skills and experience in their chosen field as well as opportinuties to network and connect with the busniess coommunity that can help them launch their careers.
