Program Information
Dr. Michael Patterson (Director, MSM Program, 860.768.4828, mipatters@hartford.edu) The Barney School of Business prepares individuals to be leaders and decision makers who are globally aware and socially responsible. Students in the Master of Science in Management (MSM) program will engage in a broad-based business curriculum including leadership, accounting, finance, marketing, project management, and strategy, while developing the skills necessary to compete in today’s competitive job market. Unlike a quantitatively rigorous and technical MBA degree, the Master of Science in Management is designed for students seeking broad business knowledge and managerial skills. The MSM curriculum consists of 10 courses (30 credits) affording working professionals the ability to complete the program in less than 18 months. Required credits: 30
