Taxation Certificate

Students who hold a J.D. or a master’s degree or higher from an appropriately accredited university may apply for admission to our tax certificate program. Study in this program allows students to enhance and expand their expertise in specific areas of taxation.

Prerequisite Course

The taxation certificate requires that the student have a basic undergraduate taxation course, or an equivalent graduate-level course.

Electives (9 credits)

Students select three courses from the following list:

• AC 773 - Advanced Individual Tax 3 credit(s)
• AC 774 - Advanced Taxation of Pass-Through Entities 3 credit(s)
• AC 776 - Advanced Corporate Taxation 3 credit(s)
• AC 783 - Research in Taxation 3 credit(s)
• AC 784 - State and Local Tax 3 credit(s)
• AC 789 - Seminar in Taxation 3 credit(s)
