Minor GPA and Grade Requirements

Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in courses required to complete the minor. All courses required for the minor must be taken for a letter grade.

Requirements for the Minor

The requirements for the minor in art history are 18 credits, including the following:

6-9 credits at the 200-level, including

ART 215W - Art across Borders 3 credit(s)
OR
ART 216W - Introduction to Non-Western Art 3 credit(s)

9-12 credits at the 300 or 400 level

No distribution requirement according to content areas.

Additional Information:

All courses required for the minor must be taken for a letter grade unless written permission is obtained from the chair of the department. Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in art history courses to complete the minor successfully.
