All incoming new students will be registered for US 150 - First Year Success Seminar during the first semester of the first year. The credit earned for this course does not count toward the completion of the degree.

Voice majors are required to maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 within their major courses and to earn a B- or better in their applied lessons.
Students in the program are required to maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.67; and can have no more than one C+ or lower in a music education or education course.
