All incoming new students will be registered for US 150 - First Year Success Seminar during the first semester of the first year. The credit earned for this course does not count toward the completion of the degree.

4Music history majors are required to register for four semesters of HLM 464 (Fall) and/or HLM 465 (Spring), Music History Forum, for 0.25 credits each (a total of one credit added to their program requirements). This obligation can be met in any semester in which the student has sufficient credit room; regardless of semester, students will never be faced with an overload.
Music history majors are required to earn a minimum grade of B- in all major (HLM) courses.
