Orchestral Performance includes the bassoon, cello, clarinet, double bass, euphonium, flute, French horn, harp, oboe, percussion, saxophone, trombone, trumpet, tuba, viola and violin. Degree requirements for guitar, piano and voice performance are listed separately and are not included on this page.

US 150 First Year Success Seminar
All incoming new students will be registered for US 150 - First Year Success Seminar during the first semester of the first year. The credit earned for this course does not count toward the completion of the degree.

Note(s):
1Enrollment dependent on placement exam.
2Students whose principal instrument is keyboard, and those who are waived because of proficiency, must replace these credits with equivalent credits approved by assigned advisor.
3Students may opt to supplement their primary instrumental lessons with a secondary area of study. Requires the permission of the instructor.
4Some supplemental chamber music may require an audition.
The Instrumental Studies Division requires a grade of B- or higher in all studio work.
