Program Information

Today’s technology produces huge volumes of data. Businesses everywhere are focusing on how to properly organize, evaluate and use data to solve problems and identify opportunities that give their organization a competitive advantage.  Building analytic models, creating scenarios, and predicting future states are but some of the exciting intellectual activities you are exposed to in business analytics.

Students can apply to attend the Barney School of Business to earn a specialized certificate in Business Analytics by completing four courses (12 credit hours) from the following list of courses:

• DATA 712 - Introduction to Business Analytics 3 credit(s)
• DATA 720 - Business Forecasting 3 credit(s)
• DATA 725 - SQL for Business Data Analytics 3 credit(s)
• DATA 730 - Business Data Mining 3 credit(s)
• DATA 735 - Predictive Modeling 3 credit(s)
• DATA 745 - Data Visualization 3 credit(s)
• DATA 750 - Strategic Business Analytics 3 credit(s)
• DATA 755 - Coding-Programing for Data Science 3 credit(s)
• DATA 760 - Marketing Analytics 3 credit(s)
