Students in a Bachelor of Fine Arts program are required to fulfill the general education requirements described below.

Total General Education Coursework (42-43 credits)

University-Wide General Education Requirements (21-22 credits)

1 Math course 3 credits
WRT 110W - Academic Writing I 3 credits
1 Interdisciplinary course 3 credits
1 Participatory Creative Arts course 3 credits (can be any Studio Art course)
1 Humanities course 3 credits (can be any Art History course)
1 Social Science course 3 credit
1 Natural Science/Tech. course 3-4 credits

BFA General Education Requirements (21 credits)

3 additional Art History (ART) courses 9 credits
3 general education electives, at least one not Humanities or Writing (not ART) 9 credits
1 WRT or writing-intensive course 3 credits
