The Bachelor of Science program offers students the opportunity to prepare for careers in chemistry or related professions. With its heavier concentration in science and mathematics, it prepares a student for positions in the chemical industry or for graduate school.
General Education Requirements (A&S)
In addition to major requirements, students must meet the General Education Requirements that correlate to their degree.
At least one year of study in a language other than English is strongly recommended.
All courses required for the major must be taken for a letter grade, and may not be taken on a Pass/No Pass basis. In order to complete the B.S. program in four years it is essential that students enroll in CH 110-CH 111 in their first year.
