MSOT 609 - Occupational Therapy Service Delivery for Mental Health & Wellness

Occupational therapy services delivery in the mental, behavioral health, or community-based practice arena. Students will learn about the regulatory and reimbursement mechanisms that affect occupational therapy services within mental health and wellness settings. Students employ their clinical reasoning, therapeutic use of self and professional attitudes and behaviors while in the classroom and during Level I fieldwork experience. Transformative learning theory frames learning activities and expected outcomes.
Prerequisite(s): MSOT 511 , MSOT 512 , MSOT 601 , and MSOT 603 . Corequisite(s): MSOT 608 .
