ADT 241 - Environmental Systems for Architectural Design

This course focuses on the integration of environmental control systems in architecture. The course explores factors affecting comfort, health, and safety. The fundamentals of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical systems, lighting, water supply, plumbing, drainage, and acoustics are studied. Applicable code requirements and sustainable design principles and practices are included. Three lecture hours. (AET 241 formerly, 3 credits)
Prerequisite(s): MTH 112 , PHY 122 ADT 232 , and ADT 233 ; or permission of instructor, Department Chair or Program Director.
