DFA 170W - Dance History I


3 credit(s) Writing Intensive
This course will trace the history of dance from Ancient Western civilizations through 19th century theatrical dancing in Western Europe. Dancing traditions of some lineage-based societies are also investigated.
Prerequisite(s): None for Dance Majors. Open to non-majors by permission of instructor.
