CS 110 - Introduction to Computers


3 credit(s)
This course focuses on computer concepts and skills for non-science majors. Computer concepts refers to 1) fundamental knowledge about computer components and how they work, 2) digital representation of information including data, sound, graphics, and video, and 3) the foundations of communication and network infrastructure. The course will form a basis for problem solving skills that evolve and adapt as technology advances. Students will also master advanced skills in word processing, spreadsheet creation, and presentation software, among other applications. Not open to Computer Science majors.
