This course serves as a historical introduction to some of the major modern religions, including Buddhism, Christianity, Confucianism, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism. This course also examines (1) the methodologies of religious studies, (2) the characteristics that religions share, and (3) the classic questions that religions address.
