NUR 434P - Population Health Service Learning


3 credit(s) High Impact Practice: Service Learning
This course involves students in community service-learning theory and practice. Engagement, reflection, reciprocity and public dissemination are the vehicles through which service learning is implemented. This course is designed to enhance students’ understanding of the social determinants of health, community assessment, community public health nursing and civic engagement.
Prerequisite(s): Matriculation in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Corequisite(s): NUR 435 .
