RAD 332 - Diagnostic Imaging


3 credit(s)
This course introduces the student to the advanced modalities within the radiologic sciences including breast imaging, cardiac/interventional, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine/PET, ultrasound, DEXA and radiation therapy. An overview of the diagnostic capabilities and limitations of each is discussed. The course provides the student with and introduction to the many areas of professional practice the RT may choose for specialization. ARRT credentialing exam prep is also integrated into this course through assignments, quizzes and practice tests.
Prerequisite(s): RAD 324 .
