SCL 320P - Contemporary Art Practices II


3 credit(s) High Impact Practice: Collaborative Learning
A studio course focusing on multi-disciplinary study of the recent history of contemporary art in the context of current cultural events. This junior-level course emphasizes further artistic experimentation for advanced study in a student’s respective field, based on what has been produced previously. The course explores a wide range of artistic activities, media, and materials that have come to the fore since the 1990s, including social practices, relational art, post-studio and ephemeral art, and digital fabrication.
Prerequisite(s): Junior or senior standing.
