ANI 330 - Intermediate Animation

This studio is an intermediate-level course building on introductory animation skills and introducing production concepts for tv, feature, and game animation. “Paper” and “Paperless” as well as “Hand-drawn” and “Cut-out” 2-D animation processes are explored, compared and contrasted for these production environments. The movement of objects in space and techniques to produce animations broadly across TV, film, and game production environments are the areas of focus. Students will further utilize industry standard techniques and methodologies to produce animations that meet broad production needs. Lectures, critiques and drawing will be a part of this course.
Prerequisite(s): ANI 230 .
