ADT 231 - Introduction to Digital Tools for Architecture


3 credit(s)
This is an introductory course on various computer software and applications used in contemporary architectural communications. The course covers basic image processing, 2D and 3D modeling, and fabrication tools. The goal is to establish fundamental skill sets for undergraduate students to effectively use standard computer software and hardware to produce, represent, and print (2D and 3D) their architectural designs. Three lecture hours.
Prerequisite(s): ADT 110P  and ADT 123 ; or permission of instructor or department chair.
Laboratory fee.
