ECT 344 - Fundamentals of Industrial Electrical Systems for Engineering Technology

This course covers the fundamentals of mechanical, electrical, and electromagnetic principles and their application to electrical systems. Principles of electromechanical energy conversion, phasor diagrams, 3-phase circuits, and single and 3-phase transformers are discussed. Various types of motors and drives are analyzed and tested. Three lecture hours, three lab hours.
Prerequisite(s): ECT 241  and (minimum grade C-).
