CS 353 - Wireless Networks

Introduction to state-of-the-art wireless and mobile networks, covering fundamental principles, architectures, and standards of modern wireless communication systems, including their applications and uses. Topics include frequency, capacity, modulation, spread spectrum, multiplexing, wireless media access control, and IEEE 802.11 wireless standards. Students will explore wireless technology through hands-on labs, and apply theory to real-world projects.
Prerequisite(s): CS 211  or ECE 332 .
Laboratory fee.
