BIO 107 - Peer Support Workshop 1 credit(s) A Peer Support Workshop (PSW) is a peer-facilitated, one-credit, pass/no pass course designed to supplement the instruction in a specific course in which you are co-enrolled. PSWs meet weekly for a one-hour collaborative problem-solving session. Designed to enhance student understanding, the workshops are facilitated by undergraduate peer tutors, and feature group work on common problems and concepts as well as one-to-one homework help. These workshops are linked to your course, and any instructional materials used will be developed by the professor. In the PSW, you will work with your peers to answer questions and solve problems that apply course concepts in order to reinforce your understanding. The tutor will facilitate the learning process while you and your peers will help each other through the material. This course is NOT mandatory to take; however, it is beneficial to help solidify the concepts and material learned in lecture. Corequisite(s): Enrollment in the corresponding BIO course associated with the Peer Review Workshop.
