ENV 442W - Environmental Capstone

3 credit(s) Writing Intensive and High Impact Practice: Capstone
Serving as the culminating experience of the environmental science and environmental studies majors, this writing-intensive course focuses on environmental research by students working with faculty members. This includes investigation of current environmental literature and conducting qualitative and/or quantitative analyses. This capstone course is a high-impact-practice course and provides students the opportunity to present their research findings both orally and as a written report. Additionally, it provides students with an opportunity to reflect on their environmental studies coursework in the major and use interdisciplinary approaches to address environmental issues.
Prerequisite(s): Senior standing or permission of instructor.
