PSY 107 - Peer-Support Workshop for PSY 372 1 credit(s) A Peer-Support Workshop (PSW) is a peer-facilitated, one-credit, pass/no-pass course designed to supplement the instruction in Statistics for Psychology, in which you are co-enrolled. PSWs meet weekly for a one-hour collaborative problem-solving session. Sessions may include collaborative and/or one-on-one work with the peer facilitator on practice problems, homework, reviewing for exams, and more. Sessions will cover both the conceptual and applied (i.e., SPSS) sides of the course.
In the PSW, you will work with your peers to answer questions and solve problems that apply course concepts in order to reinforce your understanding. The tutor will facilitate the learning process while you and your peers will help each other through the material. This course is NOT mandatory to take; however, it is beneficial to help solidify the concepts and material learned in lecture. Corequisite(s): PSY 372 .
