HTD 210 - Ballet II

This course explores ballet movement, technique, vocabulary, musicality, and style at an intermediate level. Students will study movement work at the barre, center, and across the floor in adagio and allegro tempi while focusing on movement connection and dance qualities. Movement work includes body conditioning with an emphasis on placement and posture. A studio format is used.
Prerequisite(s): HTD 111 or advanced placement.
