HTD 211 - Ballet II

This course is a continuation of HTD 210. It explores ballet movement, technique, vocabulary, musicality, and style at an upper-intermediate level. Students will study movement work in adagio and allegro tempi at the barre and center, focusing on movement connection and dance qualities. Movement work includes body conditioning with an emphasis on placement and posture.
Prerequisite(s): HTD 210 or advanced placement.
