DPT 721 - Clinical Reasoning and HVLA

The physical therapy student will participate in didactic and laboratory sessions designed to improve evaluation and assessment abilities with an emphasis on clinical reasoning, and implement appropriate manual therapy interventions, including high velocity, low amplitude (HVLA) thrust techniques, for the spine and extremities. This course will be comprised of 50% lecture, cases, and discussions/50% lab sessions.
Prerequisite(s): Physical Therapy major (third year DPT student); DPT 635 .
