MSOT 610 - Occupational Therapy Practice with Adults and Older Adults 3 credit(s) MSOT 610:Occupational Therapy Practice with Adults and Older Adults [3 Credit(s)] This final practice-based course examines the etiology, progression, and management of neurological, musculoskeletal orthopedic, and related conditions affecting adults and older adults across diverse health care settings. Emphasis is on client-centered, occupation-centered practice and promoting participation and empowerment. Students apply theoretical frameworks and frames of reference to guide evaluation, intervention planning, and clinical decision-making. Documentation, professional reasoning, and ethical considerations are integrated throughout to ensure safe, effective, and client-centered care. Students will build upon their professional reasoning that they have developed over the course of the curriculum, ensuring that ethical considerations are at the forefront of the entire OT process. Prerequisite(s): MSOT 512 , MSOT 601 , MSOT 603 , MSOT 604 , and MSOT 608 . Corequisite(s): MSOT 611 and MSOT 613 .
