DATA 300 - Essential Computing Skills for Business Success

This foundational course aims to build basic computing skills necessary in an ever-changing and increasingly data-driven business world. Some of the most widely-used tools for computing and data manipulation are surveyed. Advanced Excel techniques are emphasized, macros and VBA are introduced. Basic R and Python syntax and packages are covered in the context of data analysis. Key SQL data and database operations are covered.
Prerequisite(s): DATA 230  or M 260 .
