  • UIST - Natural, Scienctific, Technological Exploration 3-4 credit(s) (Must be chosen from UIST 115 , UIST 120 , or UIST 140D . Students who take any other UIST to meet this requirement must then ALSO take a 3-4 credits Science Elective.)

  • UISC - Cultural and Historical Expression 3 credit(s) (Must be chosen from UISC 210 , UISC 211 , or UISC 212  to satisfy the CT State American History requirement.)

Students must successfully complete the PRAXIS I Academic Skills Assessment prior to the end of fall semester of the sophomore year. The PRAXIS II test must be successfully completed prior to the student-teaching semester.

Voice majors are required to maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 within their major courses and to earn a B- or better in their applied lessons.
