Minor GPA and Grade Requirements

Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.33 in courses required to complete the minor. All courses required for the minor must be taken for a letter grade.

M 260 - Introduction to Data Science 3 credit(s)
M 368 - Predictive Modeling for Data Science 3 credit(s)

Note:

Math majors (BA and BS) who wish to add the Data Science Minor may count M 144 , M 220 , M 260 , and CS 111 /CS 114 for both the minor and major requirements. M 360 , M 366 , and M 368 may not be used to fulfill the requirements for both the Mathematics Major and the Data Science Minor.

Additional Information

Students must formally declare the minor by completing a Change of Major form before applying for graduation.

*Transfer students must satisfy the above requirements with a minimum of 2 Data Science courses completed at the University of Hartford.
