Mathematics Minor

Minor GPA and Grade Requirements

Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.33 in courses required to complete the minor. All courses required for the minor must be taken for a letter grade.

Requirements for a Minor in Mathematics

A minor in mathematics, available to all students, consists of

• M 144 - Calculus I 4 credit(s)
• M 145 - Calculus II 4 credit(s)
• four upper-level (200 level or above) mathematics courses*

Additional Information:

Students must formally declare the minor by completing a Change of Major form before applying for graduation.

*Transfer students must satisfy the above requirements with a minimum of 2 upper-level mathematics courses completed at the University of Hartford.
