Minor GPA and Grade Requirements

Students must maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in courses required to complete the minor. All courses required for the minor must be taken for a letter grade.

Approved substitutes (such as courses taken abroad or Spanish cognate courses). For suggestions about appropriate cognate courses, please consult the director of the Hispanic Studies program, Professor Marco Cupolo.
SPA 342 , SPA 343 , SPA 484 , SPA 485 , SPA 486 , and SPA 487 may be taken more than once since the content of the courses varies from semester to semester.

Additional Information

Students interested primarily in language study should select 210 and 211, and should complete the readings, reports, and compositions in 300-level courses in the host language.
