CE 530 - Geotechnical Engineering II

The application of the principles of soil mechanics to the design of footings, retaining walls, pile foundations, caissons, and sheet piles; foundations on difficult soils and problems dealing with foundation settlement will be investigated.
Prerequisite(s): CE 330 and senior or graduate standing in engineering, or permission of instructor.
