HTA 411 - Voice for the Actor VII

This course continues the work of HTA 410 and takes the student into an extensive study of the accents and dialects more often used on the English-speaking stage. Continued work with the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), is accompanied by study of Foreign accents (Italian, German, Russian French and Spanish) with additional accents depending on specific needs within the class. Being offered in the final year in the Actor Training Voice for the Actor sequence, additional topics may be covered such as Voice-Over or needs that may arise from the performance curriculum.
Prerequisite(s): HTA 410; music theatre or actor training majors only.
