HTA 130 - Acting I


3 credit(s)
This beginning acting class establishes a basic approach toward understanding and creating human behavior. Students learn how to motivate action, pursue objectives, confront obstacles, and create subtext. Through exercises and play readings, students study dramatic form and learn the basics of script analysis. A studio format is used.
Prerequisite(s): Acceptance to Hartt School Theatre Division.
