HS 141 - Introduction to Healthcare Professions II

This is the second semester of a two-semester course sequence addressing issues related to healthcare professions. Topics include the U.S. healthcare system, HIPPAA, complementary and alternative medicine, patient/coworker diversity, standard procedures, palliative care, emergency preparedness, and professionalism.
Prerequisite(s): HS 140  or permission of instructor.
