This course explores contemporary dance styles with an emphasis on musical-theatre, social, and ethnic dance forms on the intermediate level, using ballet and other movement techniques. Class consists of a standing warm-up, floor warm-up, stretching, center work, traveling, and traveling combinations. There is also an emphasis on full-body conditioning. A studio format is used.
Prerequisite(s): Music theatre major and HTD 114 -HTD 115 , or permission of instructor.
