Review of fundamental manufacturing processes, nontraditional machining and thermal-cutting processes, surface-processing and property-enhancing operations, joining and assembly processes, special processing and assembly technologies. Discussion on timely topics, including energy conservation, environmental concerns, and agile manufacturing. Professional elective.
