MED 110 - Foundations of Music Education


2 credit(s)
This course is an introduction to the music education profession and degree program. Students discuss the philosophical and practical issues in music education and complete micro teaching and planning experiences. Through observation of current practitioners and guest lecturers, students explore the many facets of the music educator role. Students also identify logistical steps to progress toward certification.
