CE 530 - Geotechnical Engineering II

The application of the principles of soil mechanics to the analysis and design of retaining walls, caissons, sheet piles, and slopes; foundations on difficult soils and problems dealing with fracking, blasting, and foundation settlement will be investigated.
Prerequisite(s): CE 330 and senior or graduate standing in engineering, or permission of instructor.
Laboratory fee.
